1950 Citroën Traction Avant 11BL

This is the flagship of our fleet.  

The car was built in Paris in 1950, although the design dates back to the early 1930s.

We can carry up to 3 passengers - 2 in the back and one in the front - and there is plenty of leg-room in the back, no matter how tall you may be.  

The car has been retro-fitted with seat-belts in both the front and the back.

The car was built in Coventry in 1953.  This is the type of car that a company director might have been driving in the early 1950s.  This car was registered in Portsmouth and spent its early working life on Hayling Island.

We can carry up to 3 passengers - 2 in the back and one in the front.

This car does not have any seat-belts.

Built in Paris and first registered near Bordeaux in January 1956, although the design dates back to early 1934.

This lovely old Traction was brought to England pre 2010 and fully restored here. With the addition of the red leather interior. 

We can carry 3 passengers, 2 in the back and 1 in the front.

The car has been retrofitted with front seat belts only.

Built in Paris in 1972 This beautiful example started life as a Paris Taxi. 

Just like in the movies this car was staked and lost in a card game in Monaco and the winner took it to start a new life in Italy where it acquired its new Ferrari red paintwork, cream roof and grey leather interior. 

The next Italian owner came to live in the Oxfordshire countryside in 2008 where it truly became a real movie star featuring in a 4 part ITV drama series in 2020.

We can carry up to 4 passengers. In great comfort 3 in the back and 1 in the front, which has the original aircraft style front seat belts.

The car was built in Citroën's Paris factory in 1956.  It is slightly bigger than the 11BL, both wider and with even more legroom in the back.

We can carry up to 4 passengers - 3 in the back and one in the front.

The car has been retro-fitted with seat-belts for 2 passengers in the back.

This car is ideal for carrying bridesmaids and other members of the bridal party when the bride is riding in our white 11BL.
